How Oernoe Handles Privacy Across Different Services

How privacy differs across Oernoe services: query handling versus AdSense on www.oernoe.com, plus the current privacy and cookie policies.

Privacy on a product family is easy to fake in a slogan and hard to keep honest in a list of hosts. Search, Health, Chat, AI, Docs, Drive, and Tracker do not collect the same things, do not fail the same way, and should not be described with one adjective. This article separates those jobs. It also separates two systems people mash together: what happens to a search query, and what happens on the marketing and journal site at www.oernoe.com, where selected publisher pages may show ads.

The Oernoe Editorial Team wrote this on 23 August 2026. Angel Mejia Rodriguez founded the company. Anoepal operates it. The binding language is not this post. It is [/legal/privacy](https://www.oernoe.com/legal/privacy) and [/legal/cookies](https://www.oernoe.com/legal/cookies). If we drift, believe those pages.

## Two systems, one brand

www.oernoe.com is a publisher site. It explains the company, hosts this journal, and, on selected substantial pages, may load Google AdSense. Ads there default toward contextual or non-personalized delivery. Google and its partners may process page context, cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, and ad interaction data to serve, secure, limit, and measure those ads. Oernoe does not receive a visitor’s complete browsing history from Google. That is the advertising disclosure, compressed.

The application hosts are different surfaces: Search, Health, Chat, AI, Docs, Drive, Tracker, and account or login screens. The current policies say the AdSense script is not loaded on short journal posts, login or signup screens, protected application pages, legal pages, error pages, or those service subdomains. “No ads on the company” is still the wrong sentence. “Ads are a publisher-site mechanism, not the product login” is closer.

Query handling is a third idea. Oernoe does not use search history to create advertising profiles and does not provide account or search data to advertisers for their own direct marketing. That is not the same as “we never log anything.” Services need technical data to stay up and to stop abuse.

## What almost every service still sees

Like most online services, Oernoe systems may receive IP address, browser and device type, request time, requested page, referring page, and diagnostic events. The privacy policy says this information is used to deliver pages, protect accounts, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and keep the service reliable.

You can dislike that and still need it. A login page that cannot see an IP address is a login page that cannot rate-limit a password-guessing script. Absolute invisibility is not on offer. Anyone who sells it is selling a mood.

Accounts add what you type: email, credentials, profile fields, support messages, and whatever you submit inside a product. Payment details, if a paid feature exists, may be handled by a payment provider. We do not sell account information or search history.

## Search: the query is not an ad profile

[Search](https://search.oernoe.com) is the product whose privacy claim people quote most often, and the one most often over-quoted. The designed line is: queries are not used to build advertising profiles. You should still assume that security logs and reliability metrics can exist. You should still assume that the destination page can track you after you click.

A signed-in search can store preferences. That is account data. It is not a reason to treat the box like a diary attached to a billboard. A signed-out search is available for many queries; use it if you want less account gravity.

We will not claim that Search makes the web private. We will not claim a larger index as proof of virtue.

## Health: high-sensitivity contents, ordinary account door

[Health](https://health.oernoe.com) may hold notes and records you would not put in a group chat. The sensitivity is in the content, not in a special physics. The door is still the Oernoe account. A strong unique password, a locked reset email, and a second factor when offered matter more here than a brand adjective.

Put in what the workspace is for. Leave out scans of identity documents unless you have a specific reason and no better vault. Health is listed among the application surfaces that are not publisher AdSense pages. That does not mean the data is “off the internet.” It means the business of showing journal ads is not supposed to be running in that workspace.

Oernoe Health is not a hospital. Do not let a privacy page substitute for clinical care.

## Chat: the other person is the main privacy event

[Chat](https://chat.oernoe.com) stores conversations so you can return to them. The other participant can screenshot, forward, or remember. End-to-end encryption, when a product offers it, changes what the operator can read. It does not change what the other human can do. This post will not invent a cryptography guarantee the product page does not state. Read the product and the policy together.

Do not paste tokens, backup codes, or other people’s data into a thread. Use block and report tools. A privacy-first chat that cannot eject an abuser is only half-built.

## AI: prompts are data

[AI](https://ai.oernoe.com) has to receive the text you send in order to answer. Treat a prompt as a submission, not as a whisper. Leave out secrets that the task does not need. If the product keeps history, that history is stored information. Delete it when the tool allows and when you no longer want it.

Generated text can include confident errors. Privacy does not make a wrong citation right. The privacy job is: do not add a second problem by handing the model a passport number.

## Docs and Drive: files you chose to store

[Docs](https://docs.oernoe.com) and [Drive](https://drive.oernoe.com) exist to keep your files and writing available. That purpose requires storage. Sharing controls are the privacy feature you will actually touch: who can view, comment, edit, or hold a link. A public link is a publication. A collaborator you forget to remove is a copy you forgot.

We will not claim a specific encryption marketing line unless you can verify it in product documentation. We will say that a stolen password defeats a lot of storage poetry. Organize files so you know what is sensitive. Do not keep a single folder named “everything.”

## Tracker: operational, not intimate — unless you make it so

[Tracker](https://tracker.oernoe.com) is for service health and operational attention. The personal data risk is usually the account used to sign in, plus whatever notes or watches you attach. Do not paste customer lists or medical identifiers into a status comment. Use it as a status surface.

## The marketing site, AdSense, and cookies

Selected substantial publisher pages on www.oernoe.com may show Google ads. Short journal posts, the blog index when it lacks substantial publisher text, login and signup screens, legal pages, error pages, and the application subdomains are supposed to exclude that script, according to the cookie policy.

Cookies fall into groups the policy names. Essential cookies may be required for authentication, security, fraud prevention, routing, and core operation. Optional technologies may remember settings or help with reliability. Advertising cookies may appear where AdSense is enabled.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform presents the advertising choices that apply. You can also use Google Ads Settings and industry opt-out pages. Blocking essential cookies can break sign-in. That is not a trick. It is how sessions work.

Oernoe does not sell information collected through preference and performance technologies, per the current cookie policy. “Sell” is a defined idea in some privacy laws and a casual insult in blog comments. Use the legal pages when the difference matters.

## What we do not do, said without a trumpet

We do not sell account information or search history. We do not use search history to create advertising profiles. We do not provide account or search data to advertisers for their own direct marketing.

We do use providers that host infrastructure, deliver features, process payments, prevent abuse, or support operations. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and services, during a business transaction, or with your direction. Providers’ own sites keep their own policies.

We keep information as long as needed to provide services, protect security, meet legal duties, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention varies by type. Safeguards exist. No online service can guarantee absolute security. The policy already says that last sentence. We are repeating it so a journal post cannot sound more certain than the lawyers.

## Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis. Write privacy@oernoe.com with enough detail to verify the request. General product problems go to support@oernoe.com. Legal questions go to legal@oernoe.com.

You can refuse optional advertising cookies and still read. You can use Search signed out. You can keep Health empty. You can decline to put a file in Drive. You can delete an account when the tools or a request allow it. Privacy is also the right not to use a product.

Oernoe is not directed to children under 13, and the policy says we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without required authorization.

## How to read future changes

Services change. Ads change. A new host can appear. Material policy revisions should carry an updated date on the legal pages. When a launch post and a policy disagree, the policy wins. When this journal and a policy disagree, the policy wins.

The honest picture in August 2026 is modest. Queries are not raw material for an Oernoe advertising dossier. The publisher site may still show Google ads with the processing that implies. Applications hold the data you give them so they can do the job. You can check those sentences against the pages we linked. That check is the privacy feature this company owes you more than a motto.
